Eight Questions with Lovetta Maddox-Richardson
 
 
1. What is your job title? Describe what you do.

I am a Worker’s Compensation / Liability Claims Representative. I handle medical only workers’ comp and PIP liability claims for MABE, which includes paying bills, authorizing treatment and providing fabulous customer service to our external and internal clients.
 
2. What do you like most about your job?

What I like most about my job is that I have a job as well as having my own office, an exercise facility on the premises and of course the people I work with; there’s never a dull moment.
    
3. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment is learning to text and connecting my Bluetooth.  And getting the kids out of the house and off to college.
 
4. What is your favorite movie?
 
I don’t have favorites however I enjoy all kinds of movies such as Norbit, most of Sandra Bullock’s movies, Shrek, X-Men, The Way We Were, and the list goes on and on.
 
5. What is the last great book you read?
The greatest book I read is the Bible but I do enjoy reading books.  I belong to a book club so the last great book I read was “Playing the Hand You Dealt” by Trice Hickman.  And we had the pleasure of Ms. Hickman joining us for our last meeting.
 
6. What is your favorite song?
 
I enjoy all types of music from gospel, R&B. country, jazz, pop, soft rock and the list goes on. 
 
 
7. What was the best vacation you ever had?
 
One of the best vacations was this year when we went St. John’s Virgin Island; we rented a yacht for the day and hung out snorkeling and exploring caves and the other time was when we went on our family Griswold RV vacation to Canada.  
 
8. When you were 12 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was younger, I wanted to be a model. I had the looks however not the height.
